TextWrangler is a very powerful editing tool, with many features, including:
- highly configurability (e.g. assigning keyboard shortcuts)
- coloring code and running scripts for Python, HTML, CSS, and many other languages
- FTP support — make new files instantly; FTP files appear in Recent Documents
- nice text options: show line numbers, wrap/don't wrap to screen, auto-indent when you press enter, show wrapped text as indented
